Beginning Our Journey to the Cloud
Partnering with VMware, MTS began building Mercy's private cloud. In 2018, MTS would become the first-ever health care VMware cloud provider.

2010
Pioneering New Models of Care

Epic's First Accredited Provider Partner
With its first Enterprise Connect accreditation, Mercy became the first provider in the world to be permitted to extend Epic's EHR system to other hospitals and health systems.

Honored for Excellence
For our efforts to lower mortality rates, reduce surgical costs and improve clinical documentation, MTS was honored by the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) with the Nicholas E. Davies Award of Excellence.

2017
Breaking New Ground

MTS launched its cloud-based PACS as a Service platform. Designed to deliver all studies and modalities through a single workstation, MTS' PACSaaS offers high-performance hosting and lightning fast medical image processing.

2019
Real World Evidence
Building off a series of research collaborations with global health manufacturing leaders, MTS announced its Real World Evidence Insights offering, which is designed to help medical suppliers and regulatory agencies improve devices and pharmaceuticals as a means of improving patient care.

Today, Mercy Technology Services is the information technology backbone for Mercy's 40+ hospitals,
300 clinics, nearly 30 client hospitals and 65,000+ EHR users.
