Mercy has earned high honors in Epic’s Honor Roll grant program for 2018 – a distinction shared by only 51 other organizations worldwide.
“Your achievement reflects your devotion to excellence and your commitment to distinguishing your organization as a leader in patient care,” wrote Ari Rajagopal, Epic’s enterprise technical coordinator. “I understand this has not been easy, and I applaud you for your perseverance. Congratulations to you and your entire team!”
By adopting best practices, having optimized infrastructure and adding many of Epic’s newest modules and upgrades, Mercy earned close to $1 million in grants to use in further enhancing our system for the benefit of the providers and patients served by Mercy and our client organizations.
“This honor is shared by a lot of people,” said Gil Hoffman, chief technology officer. “The Epic team at MTS, the physicians and front line clinicians who recommend improvements, the leaders of our client organizations who always encourage us to keep pushing boundaries with our EHR – we all have a hand in this award, as it's the end result of our tireless push to improve care for our patients.”
